Cooking Lesson #1

I just made this tonight, so try it or work around it. It's still a work in progress.

Becky’s Homemade Spaghetti Sauce
Serving 4

2 Tomatoes Diced and peeled
2 8 oz. cans of unsalted tomato sauce to 2 6oz cans of unsalted/regular tomato paste
2 bay leaves
5 minced garlic cloves (or more, depending on your taste for garlic)
4 tablespoons oregano
1 ½ teaspoons light salt
3 teaspoons basil
1 teaspoon thyme
1 cup diced mushrooms
1 tablespoon dried onion
1 ½ lbs Ground Turkey

Pre-heat Dutch oven (Crock pot) to high. Mix ingredients in Dutch oven while cooking the turkey. Stir regularly while mixing; once turkey is cooked add into sauce. Cook on high for 1 – 1 ½ hour. Cook with your favorite noodles and bread.
